I have been a Board Member since 2018. I live in and love Fulton County. I have worked for Sauder Woodworking Company for 27 years. I love problem solving, wearing multiple hats and serving others. Troy and I have been married for 19 years, and we love fishing, hunting and entertaining friends. It is a privilege to serve our community
Chanda Chesnut, Vice President
I have been a Board member since 2023. I have always lived and worked in Fulton County. I rejoice in giving back and I thrive when I am helping others. With compassion for others, Pete and I have focused on cultivating relationships I consider to be a blessing to our lives.
Trisha Schneider, Treasurer
Board Member Since 2016. Trisha Schneider is a lifelong resident of Fulton County. She lives in Wauseon with her husband and 4 children. Along with supporting the vision of JJ SafeHouse, she is involved in several other community organizations, such as the Wauseon Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement, and the Fulton County Development Corporation.
Judy Becker, Vital Board Member
Judy Becker is a former McDonald’s Owner/Operator for almost 30 years, with her franchises’ operational benchmarks ranking among the top in the industry. In addition to her business accomplishments, she has been a long-term volunteer at St. Caspar Church, SCORE mentor and board member, Ronald McDonald House volunteer and supporter, provided phone support for the National Domestic Violence hotline and past coordinator for Dress for Success Programs in various counties. Mrs. Becker enjoys staying engaged, leading small and large teams, and providing a positive impact on the community.
William Shaffer, Vital Board Member
Board consultant since 2019, I help with contractor work and do necessary repairs on the House. I served as a nuclear trained electrical operator on submarines. I retired after 35 years of submarine shipbuilding with General Dynamics Electric Boat. I grew up on a small farm in the Fremont area and earned an engineering degree from the University of Cincinnati.
Sarah Lohman, Vital Board Member
I am a clinical social worker and program director at a women’s residential recovery program, where I support women healing from trauma, addiction, and unhealthy relationships. I live and work in Fulton County and am passionate about helping women and families build safe, stable futures. Outside of work, I enjoy cheering on my kids in sports, spending time with my husband of over 20 years, running, and reading.
Kristie Kwiatkowski, Board Member
Board Member since 2015 Kristie, has been in the financial industry since 1992. She has a relationship with clients that span multiple generations. A lifelong resident of Toledo-Maumee area, Kristie began her career as a teller at Society Bank –eventually becoming a supervisor and team leader at Society National Bank (when its name changed). In 1996, Kristie started as a Senior Registered Client Associate, since 2017, at Morgan Stanley. &

Kathy Siler, House Director
I have been a Board member since 2021. I have lived most of my life in Northwest Ohio and look forward to serving women and their children to help them thrive. I am a mother of 4 adult children and 9 precious grandchildren. Family is at the heart of everything I do. I love spending quality time with them and supporting them in their passions and activities.
